True to size, windproof, and large pockets. Tall collar is a bit annoying for casual wear but comes in handy for colder windy days when fully zipped. Plenty of room under the arms to allow movement without restrictions. Definitely what I was looking for in a vest.

Love everything about this vest…the exterior shell is sturdy…the interior is soft…love all the places to store stuff…and the brick red color is subtle and different. Fit is as expected and when I had to deal with customer service, they were awesome! Highly recommend.

This is the first vest I’ve owned. Perfect for layering on cooler days or wearing over a hoodie on warmer days. I normally wear this while walking the dogs or doing yard work.

This thing is great for all the normal face stuff you know that but the feel that’s probably what you wanna know? So is feels great roomie in the stomach area spongy & stretchy feel. So if you get another vest and it was a little tighter in the stomach then this is the one you want I can say the winter warm vest and the canyonwall vest those are tapered not too much room in the stomach at all the bionic is what you want I ran through all three of those landed up with bionic and winter warm awesome

i wear this vest for any day a full jacket is not needed. i have had a version of this vest for 20 years and was pleased to find the new version was of similar quality, comfort and configuration. it does run small so if you intend to wear over layers, i would size up. great for hiking, snowshoeing, boating, out and about.

I finally updated my North Face vest from the one I purchased around 1999 around the that time that I first noticed “Windstop” being introduced. This newer version with Windblock and stretch material with a water resistant soft shell like outer layer doesn’t disappoint. In fact it surpasses my beloved older version quite a bit. I find it very comfortable and more wear resistant and really like the stretchy forgiveness it has. Looks like I won’t be needing another vest for another 20 years

This vest is really nice it’s got a lot of room in the gut just so you know the small was too big for me in the stomach area the extra small was too tight in the stomach area So I didn’t get it I am a weird size but it’s awesome

One of the best vests out there. The fit is great, the quality is super. Shipping was fast. As an outer garment it is surprisingly warm considering it’s weight. Very windproof. As a layer it is great for holding heat in and pairs perfectly with TNF Apex Bionic Jacket for warmth and comfort.

I’ve worn this vest a few times while hiking. It’s a great layer for wind protection when a raincoat or down coat would be too hot but a fleece coat would be too cold. I’ve also been carrying with me as an extra layer just in case. It’s compact enough to carry in a small pack pocket.
