Came to North Face looking for a quality and sustainable rain jacket that would also be long enough to cover my buy while surviving Seattle. I think for the price and quality, compared to other brands, that this is worth it! It fits well (5’6″ ~130 lb) and still has some give to layer a sweater for colder rain.

First off, I love the color of this raincoat. It makes it easier to pair with almost any outfit, looking making me look out together. I had the opportunity to use it yesterday (as it rained all day), and I am more than satisfied. I am a college student, go had to walk around campus in order to get to her classes, all under the rain — and this raincoat proved to be worth the purchases. Did not get wet at all (where the raincoat covered me of course), and it was not dripping when I got to my dorm! Totally love it, and recommend you to purchase it if you are on the fence. Yes, it may be pricier than others, but think of it as an investment!

I wanted a raincoat that was light so I could put warmer clothes under it, but not feel like I was weighted down. This is perfect. It’s roomy and stylish and above all, waterproof. I’ve had many “raincoats” that aren’t waterproof, but this one is totally waterproof and keeps me dry. I love the length and style of it as well as the color. I often buy black, so this was out of my comfort zone. The color is awesome and a nice change from black. I also like that I can adjust the sleeves to keep the water out and that it is long enough to keep most of me dry. As in all Northface products, the hood covers my head completely so I don’t need an umbrella.
This is an awesome find!

Love this raincoat more than I expected to! I’m 5’3 110 lbs 32A chest and the xsmall was perfect with enough room to wear thick sweaters. The small would’ve been too baggy. I tested how waterproof it is by putting the sleeve under a running faucet and the water just slides off and the fabric is completely dry! But the jacket isn’t rubbery, it feels nicer.
Audra –
Love it. Everything about it. Color, fit, weight, awesome. Even the sleeves are long enough and I’m 5′ 10″.

This jacket is great for everyday winter wear. It’s durable and very water proof, and I love the length for keeping water from soaking into your pants. The shape is very flattering with the cinched back. The hood is large enough to cover your face and then some. I do wish the hood and waist had draw strings, to tighten things up when needed, but that’s a minor issues purely based on personal preference. The coat looks very sharp, and I love the Flax color!
Whitley –
This jacket is comfortable, breathable and keeps me dry in the Seattle rain.

Finally a jacket with a double zipper for us bog hip babes!

This rain coat took me from foggy San Francisco to a rainy hike in Muir Woods to the windy ferry ride back ..all warm
and dry.

I’ve been searching for a new rainshell & finally found this. It’s more stylish than the usual short rain jackets, so it looks great dressed for the office. Also great for outside adventure, but I wouldn’t use it for longer hikes (no pit zips, less tech than others). The fabric is soft and quiet- not noisy or plasticy. The lining is soft too- slips right on over layers. And it’s warm- perfect for Seattle climate.

Product arrived in a timely manner. The rain jacket is finished so nice compared to other brands we ordered and returned. this coat my daughter loves. She lives in Down town Seattle and goes to the university. She needed a coat that was good for our rainy days that is fully lined. This fills the ticket perfectly.

I loved this parka so much that I’m going to try it in another color! I’m a 5’6″ 130lb and slender body type and the S fits perfectly! I love how it has a minimalist modern look to it.

I work as a teacher and have car rider duty in the mornings.I was tired of being soaked to the skin as I got back into the school to prepare for my students.I got this raincoat and the water repelled off of my coat!!’ I have been warm and toasty coming back into the school after a downpour in car rider duty! Thanks Northface for constructing such a wonderful raincoat!!!
Cathy –
I never even tried it on! My mistake. I didn’t notice in description about the hook and loop feature running in disconnected strips the length of the opening. I have a pretty strong diversion to that type of fastening, especially as often as it would be engaged in wearing this coat.

Love, love, love this jacket!!! I purchased the XL because I gained some weight during Covid and needed a larger fit. The XXL was way too big but kudos to North Face for making an XXL, a very unreserved market!!
The jacket fits perfectly. I am 5’7 and now sadly over 200lbs. I am working hard on losing it. I can wear a fleece underneath. What I love about the jacket is that it is slightly fitted, has slash pockets w zipper, has a nice hood and is waterproof. I can attest that it protects from hard rain. Also, it isn’t crunchy waterproof and instead is soft. It rolls up nicely into its hood for packing. This is definitely another winner from North Face!!!!

Great light-weight coat for spring and rainy day

Great Jacket

Full coverage for walking around. I live in a city and commute via public transit and this jacket is perfect for rain and wind.

Bought this for an upcoming cruise to Alaska. I like that I can wear over my fleece jacket to make warmer. Looking forward to wearing this on my trip.
Jessica –
Great for tall ladies! I’m 5’9” 150 and ordered medium. Sleeves were plenty long and parka length covers my bum so if you have to sit at kids’s sports games you stay dry! It’s not the stiff material either, nice and soft. Folds up great to be packable as well in your tote bag. The dark olive is a great neutral that goes with everything! Just be careful with Velcro, it’s not too sticky but can still catch a bit on clothing. North Face is the best and holds up, worth every Penny!!
Helena –
This is a classy jacket that does great against the elements! I love it!!
Kerri –
Love this jacket. Weatherproof, light weight
Erica –
I love this jacket! Super high quality. Light weight, yet really protects from the wind and rain. What I love most about this jacket is the look, it can be an every day jacket as well as a professional looking jacket to wear to work.
Olga –
This raincoat is everything! The color and the cut is of great quality. It fit perfectly, even gives off warmth, and looks so chic. I’m definitely getting another one.
For color change. I’d recommend it for those that like to look causal dress or sporty!

Very disappointed in this jacket quality. From the beginning I found it barely waterproof, would seep through the jacket after being out in moderate rain for a brief period of time.
Within 6 months the jacket is no longer wearable (wore less than 15 times) because there are holes starting to form and it has begun pilling at multiple spots. I would definitely not recommend this product, very disappointing for a “reputable” brand.
