The ultimate coat for cold windy weather! This coat is my go to for the early morning dog walks to the late snowy nights out on the town. I love that it is reversible, allowing me to switch up the look. Its great for windy days and offers great protection. It fits a little small in the bust but other than that, the fit is perfect.

I want to love this jacket. However, the arms are too long, it is boxy around the shoulders and snug in the middle area. A weird fit overall. Also I wish it did not have such a tail in the back. I love love love the Mossbud vest. Wish this jacket fit better because I love the concept of 3/4 length for warmth. But it is just not crafted great.

I am XS size and do not like bulky heavy winter coats so as soon as I saw this one I thought it was simply what I needed, then when I tried I fall in love immediately. Feel light and keeps me warm, is the perfect fall/winter jacket for every ocasion other than a formal outing.

I really wanted to like this parka. But, it has one major flaw that made me send it back. There is no zipper at the bottom of the coat so that you can open the bottom to make sitting (especially in the car) more comfortable. There are other parka’s by The North Face that do have this zipper. I’m 5’2″ need to have this zipper. My search for the perfect parka continues.

The fit on this jacket is absolutely comfortable. Not a bulky or puffy feeling at all, a very lightweight yet very warm and super soft jacket. I love the length because it is not too long. The style is very versatile. I am very pleased and happy with this item along with Zappos customer service.

Great for moderate winter temperatures (25 degrees or higher). Super cozy because of the interior fur. Nice slim silhouette without bulk. Couldn’t be my dead of winter coat, but nice for late fall, early spring here in Minnesota.

Gorgeous (I got the green), light-weight, and so soft. I was su[er excited when I opened the package but it was not to be. The medium was tiny (I have a 35 1/2 inch bust, 5’6″, 134lbs), and I couldn’t close it by about 2-3 inches. I’m returning the medium and getting a large. Fingers crossed!

I need this jacket for those cold days where the wind just blows through a typical pullover. I’m in North Florida though so a typical day can start out at 29′ and end up at 70′. This jacket is great because it gives warmth without the bulk. It does run a little small. I recommend ordering a size up.

My true size is a large or size 10 and this coat is a little tight. Once I lose five pounds it will be perfect to wear to The New York Yankees home opener late March!

Love the fit! More fitting & not so boxy… I read the reviews before purchasing and quite a few said to size up… not necessary. I’m a medium in Northface & this fits beautifully and I’m still able to wear a sweatshirt underneath. I love how the hood is fleece lined as well.. I definitely recommend

I LOVE TNF!!! This jacket is exactly what I wanted/ needed. I live in upstate New York and needed a jacket for those chilly fall and spring days where the rain coat isn’t warm enough or the down parka is too heavy/ warm. This falls right in between and it’s perfect!! I’m 5’5 , 155 lbs, 38B, 39″ hips and a large fits me just right. I have a little bit of room when zipped up. If I had a thick sweater or hoodie on it may be a little snug but I’m fine with that or I wouldn’t zip up. If it’s that cold out time for my parka. It covers my bottom and the pattern is flattening. I’m very happy with my purchase!!!

Just got this in today and it’s so soft and comfy! I’ve had several north face coats over the years and I think this is my favorite. It’s not bulky but is warm. Made for cold days.

Loved so much about the jacket. The fleece side is velvet soft and cozy. I don’t think I would wear that side out but loved that both sides had pockets (making sure you had inner pockets 🙂
The sleeve weight was perfect- not too bulky, making movement easy. I found the insulated sleeves often to be too bulky. Wish NF offered petite sizing. The sleeves are so long on a shorter person. Definitely makes for a less polished look. Altering them isn’t really an option due to the down either.
For me though what really broke the deal was the lack of a two way zipper on a longer jacket. At this price point, I would expect NF to make that a given.

The jacket felt too small in the hips area and in the shoulders. I usually don’t have the same issues with North Face products of this size.

The look of the jacket is fine, but I’m disappointed with its function. I bought the mossbud swirl jacket (shorter and no hood) a few years ago in both black and white. That version has a pretty heavy faux fur insulation and is very warm. I wanted a longer version with a hood, so I ordered this jacket in navy. It is not the same jacket at all. Its lining/fur side is a lightweight fleece and is not very warm at all. Also there is no fleece in the sleeves. I’m very disappointed and will be returning.

Loved this jacket but it was too small. Ordered a Medium but the large would have been the better fit. Returned it only to find out the large was sold out. A bit annoying but won’t give up til I find it
