This jacket looks great and I’m sure it will perform well and keep me dry. I have another North Face rain jacket in an XXL that is a bit smaller in the midsection and this jacket in a 2X gave me the extra room I wanted so I could wear a thicker layer underneath and not just a t-shirt, however please, please can companies realize that some women have broad shoulders. The room through the shoulder area feels the same as my XXL and I was really hoping the 2X would be a little roomier. I’m going the keep the jacket because I can’t size up or the midsection will be too large, and I can’t buy mens for the extra shoulder space because they have no hips. Overall it fits pretty well, and it will be great for every day wear, but I hate the feeling that if I move just a bit too far trying to be more active, I’m going rip out of it like the hulk. I would still recommend this jacket, but beware if you have linebacker shoulders like me, it might be a little snug.

Perfect no frills rain jacket. This one seems more durable than the Venture 2, and doesn’t seem like it will rip easily. I love the Goblin/beta blue color. I would size up for more room.

Great jacket-fully waterproof and super comfortable. It is a little longer in the back-perfect for sitting on wet logs or benches. I was in a rainy and windy environment and my hood kept on and I was comfortable.
