I have been looking for wide-brimmed hat with a truly flat brim. I used to have a hat like this as a kid. It was great. It IS great again. Reminds me of El Topo

I love this hat. Bought 3. Two in black one in olive. I get stopped all the time and asked where I got my hat. It stays on surprisingly well in windy conditions. The brim is completely flat – due to the wire inside- which is spectacular. It folds up into it’s own pouch if I’m coming inside to eat or drink somewhere. I have a fairly large head – 7 1/2, and it fits nice. It has a shock cord cinch strap on the back and underneath to keep it in place. Great hat.

This hat is fantastic. It has an I. We elastic band so it fits snug but not tight. I wore it on the ski boat and it didn’t blow off! It folds up for easy storage in backpack and provides excellent shade without being too hot. I love this hat.

Fits perfect and is very light. Used to have a straw hat but this is better. Most important when the hat bumps into a branch etc. I don’t end up getting yanked back 🙁 and instead it sort of goes around? all I know is I can still walk forward even if this catches on something. This hat works with me and keeps it shape – love it!

Was used at a Soccer tournament. As a referee, we are out in the sun exposed sometimes this helped in between games to protect my neck, face, and ears. Would recommend it to anyone.

I needed something for a future kayaking trip but used it recently on a hot Texas hike. It is fashionable, effective and it is collapsible into a small case. My head could breathe and the strap kept the hat on my head even in the wind. It’s perfect for backpacking, kayaking and hiking.

I have to say, this hat is the BEST! It is well designe.I look for items to have practical and functional features and this hat has both. The material is great quality and very well built. I LOVE the folding feature, it’s so easy to pack it up and take it with you, there is no fear of the hat bending or breaking since it’s nicely tucked in the pouch. I use it every day, it’s very breathable and light. I’ve used it in hog wind conditions and the hat stayed on. I’ve gotten a lot of good comments about it. I highly recommend it. If the come up with a different livelier color, I will be buying it. It’s with every penny.
