Lucas –
A great tent for a weekend car camping trip. A bit on the heavy side for backpacking, but perfect for a 2 day trip
Gladys –
Haven’t used it yet but set up was easy.
Luke T –
Loved using this tent. The only downside is the weight.
Elijah –
Used this bad boy in the BWCA in northern Minnesota. Rained every night but I stayed dry. East set, up easy tear down. Rocks, man.
Moe –
I camped in Joshua tree in the windiest day of the year California has ever recorded (gusts of 65 Mph). my friends back in 29 palms thought I died but I slept like a baby. perfect tent for wind storms. easy to set up and enough room for one person
Sam –
amazing tent for the price. high quality

I ordered this tent after waiting 3 months deciding on a 2 person tent that would suit my needs. I loved it right away. This weekend was my first time taking it camping. While I was sleeping it was attacked by either a bear or cougar. (Park attendants assume from the damage). I could hear the animal breathing outside the tent and heard it get frustrated and take swipes at the sides. It eventually gave up trying to get in and I wasn’t harmed. The tent stayed standing!!! And this was after surviving a wind storm beforehand and was cool inside even though it was super hot out (with fly off) and warm at night when temps dropped (with fly on). I’m super sad then it got torn up by the local wildlife as I had planned to use it for multiple trips over the next 6 weeks. I loved this little tent for the short time I got to use it and would HIGHLY recommend. You make a sturdy tent The North Face

I have used this tent a couple of times. I love that it is so light. The fly does not have to be used. Yet since the doors tuck away easily, a person might as well use it and be ready for precipitation and/or cooler temperatures.
Two negatives (in my perspective) are:
1) I would have rathered sleeves for the poles. I grasp that it would add weight but it would make setting up quicker and easier.
2) A couple of additional stakes would have been nice. When it is raining stakes seem to be needed to create usable vestibule space.

Spent a night getting dumped on by 2.5 inches of rain overnight in the sierras and woke up completely dryeven with the flooded ground around the tent! Perfect sized vestibule as wellvery happy with this tent!!
Andy –
The tent is extremely light. 2 additional stakes for the vestibules are needed. Sleeves for the poles would make setting up easier. Heavier as a result, but I would rather an easier set-up.
Johnny –
Fantastic tent that has lasted 5 years of almost monthly camping with plenty of heavy storms.

This is my go to tent when not using my z packs plexamid. Easy to set up and sturdy. My one complaint is the poles gave the third time I used it making my set up not as stable.

I’ve had this tent for two years now and it’s been on some incredible adventures. I’ve used several times and it’s holding up really well. It’s very light weight and easy to set up. It’s also got great head room, I’m on the taller side 5″10 and clearance gives me lots of room to change and move around pretty freely.

Size truly doesn’t matter with this tent!! From the effortless set up, to the wind resistant uphold, down to the cool storage pockets inside this tent is the go to when you’re on the go!
