This is my third pair of Hedgehogs. The design has been changed slightly for the better, with one less set of shoelace eyelets and a shorter shoelace that won’t drag over the side. Good sole support, love the Goretex. Shoe runs a half size smaller, that has been a consistent finding.

The mesh material on the toe box of these shoes is wearing out after only 3 months of use. I only wear them for a one hour walk each day. Not recommended.

Excellent shoe out of the box. Felt great going on and I went with my running shoe size (12). Arch support was very good and appropriate if you need modest arch support. Was most surprised by the weight; lighter than I expected which is good in my mind. Knocked off one star for style, but that is totally subjective. It would be cool if these shipped with a speed lace option, but again, a personal preference.

The companies only fault is not advertising as golf shoe. Have used Hedgehog for 10+ years on golf course as I am frequently walking early morning with wet grass.

I haven’t had these shoes on a long hike yet but so far I’m very happy with them. The fit is excellent and true to size. The construction seems very good and the changes in design and materials since my last pair of North Face hiking shoes (which I was also very happy with) seem to address some of the weak spots on those older shoes. Although they are still getting worn in, I expect to use and enjoy these shoes for a long time to come.

Most my age of 79 aren’t seeking proper “gear”, just a lightweight comfortable shoe. These Lites, and their earlier model, are very comfortable, very supportive, while offering nonslip protection in slippery weather.

These shoes are comfortable. You can’t beat the vibran sole. I’m impressed with the futurelight lining of the shoes. Makes them true water proof. I highly recommend these shoes. Especially if you are a fan of The North Face brand.

I walk or hike about 25-30 miles a week and these have held up great over a year. Comfortable, actually waterproof, fits pretty accurately.
