We purchased a fleece from north face to be used with this shell. Our 4 year old does outdoor preschool in the PNW, i expect that in the spring when it warms up a little this will be perfect without the fleece to keep him dry.

My son just turned 12 and it is so difficult to find a rain coat/shell for him. He’s in between sizes as where boys large will just fit and mens small is too big. Not many companies make a XL size for boys. I’m glad aI keep looking in the North Face site and found one. It’s a little big on him so we figured he’d get some use before growing out of it also great that he can zip a fleece jacket inside of it too.

I bought this to use with Boys printed thermoball eco hoodie. Size fits just right , the smell on the other hand, something even a good wash and dry can’t remove. Such a strong chemical smell my son can’t even wear it and since I washed and dried it I’m probably can’t return it. Disappointed. We have purchased many northface products through the years and this was the worst! I don’t recommend this product.
