I bought these to wear for work on casual dress days. The have a nice straight fit. Not slim, not skinny, and not baggy. Just straight. I am 5’11” and 185. I bought the 33in waist w/regular length. I am right in betweeen a regular and a long 33″ length would be great like some of their other pants

Love the texture, weight and feel of the material, workmanship is really nice…. what we’ve come to expect from North Face. If you want to dress a cut above nice jeans, then go with a better casual look with these!
I have to add the following: the color pants you receive will not resemble the website photo. As you see in the photo, my pants are SEVERAL shades darker than indicated. I’m sorta ok with the color I received, but I did check my order when I received these pants, I thought I’d ordered the wrong color…. nope.

These pants are amazing, I own several pairs now. I can wear them to work in an office setting, then head off to hike some trails immediately after work with only needing to change out my dress shirt. These are also my favorite pants to wear when I spend a week canoeing and camping in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area (BWCA). These pants are super comfortable and the fabric has a little bit of a stretch to it too, so whether it’s hiking or getting in and out of a canoe in these is effortless. Not only are they comfortable, but they are super durable as well. In the BWCA we are constantly portaging (carrying our canoes, packs, and gear across land masses to get to another lake) and I abuse the bejeezus out of these things and they still look good! Hands down my favorite pants that I own! I’ve been wearing TNF apparel for over a decade now and they never disappoint!

I wanted a pair of pants that felt premium and comfortable that I could use around the house, working in the yard, and especially in the outdoors (hiking and camping). They’ve got a looser fit which I usually avoid because I’m on the thinner side, but I don’t mind the fit. I purchased the 32 regular size, and the waste size and length is perfect for me at 5’10” and 160 lbs.
